ok i have a bunch of Cal Ripkin, Reggie Jackson, Nolan Ryan, and other older cards that when i was a kid thought they were the best players out there, but i see theres no market for any of there cards. im in the process of scanning and posting all my cards so i can get more help. anyway where these players not as good as i thought? someone please lt me know if im crazy.

Not crazy at all. Some of the cards may be valuable, some of them may not...it really just depends. All three players have pretty significant followings and a lot of cards are sold for each of them.

They're Hall of Famers, it's not them, perhaps it's the overproduced cards of the mid/late 80's & early 90's.

If you you have high grade rookie cards for any of the three - then you'll have yourself nice little collection of cards.

Sounds good. Hopefully the pricing information will help you determine which of the cards might be worth sending off to an authenticator.
