Baseball Card Collecting: started collecting again

    i just started collecting again for my 2 sons they are 4 and 2 years of age i am buyig newer cards for them so they will have names they recognize when they get older.I am also buying older unopened packs 87-2002 off ebay opening them and putting them into sleeves for them.I just need some tips and suggestions on how to put a value on my collection and maybe what cards to search for.
